Currently based in New York City, José Guizar has created a project entitled ‘Windows of New York’, of which the above images are part. With weekly updates, José describes the collection as an “illustrated fix for an obsession that has increasingly grown in me since circumstance put me in this town. A product of countless steps of journey through the city streets, this is a collection of windows that somehow have caught my restless eye out from the never-ending buzz of the city. This project is part an ode to architecture and part a self-challenge to never stop looking up.”

Lucille Bluth (played by Jessica Walter) is one of many fine reasons to watch Arrested Development, as these button badges demonstrate (available from Arthur’s Plaid Pants’ Etsy store).

Evan Robertson’s art illustrations of famous literary quotes are really quite striking. Do head on over to his Etsy store ‘Obvious State’ and browse the whole collection - I’d like the two featured above, please.

Susie Ghahremani (of Boygirlparty®) has a portfolio full to the brim of lovely illustration work, and for those of you in Portland she’s even got an exhibition on at the moment - which you should definitely check out.

From the 10th August to September 2nd you can catch her work in ‘Clear Skies and Cloudy Days: Artwork and Explorations’ at the Land Gallery, in Portland (OR).

Amongst other things French Broad Chocolates do an absolutely astonishing range of caramels and truffles, and I would dearly love to get hold of some.

(Unfortunately for me the company is based in North Carolina, and I doubt these products would fare well in the post. But if you’re anywhere in NC you should definitely hunt these chocolates down).

I’ve Tumbld about the work of the geniuses behind Saipua (the Brooklyn-based flower and soap company) before, and here they are again - with a crisp, but beautiful, winter arrangement. Lovely.
